Jamie Oliver’s Learn Your Fruit and Veg

 

As a Facilitator for Jamie Oliver’s Learn your Fruit and Veg program I get to put the fun back into fresh food. Jamie Oliver’s Learn Your Fruit and Veg Program has been created to inspire primary schools and early learning centres to get involved in food education in a practical and engaging way.

The Program is delivered by The Good Foundation and it has been designed to change the eating habits of kids nationwide for the better. It engages and excites children about fresh food by teaching them simple to follow and quick to prepare recipes, using Jamie Oliver’s signature cooking tips and shortcuts.

Each lesson focuses on a hero fruit or vegetable and students are taught what the fruit or veg is, where it comes from, and how it affects their bodies.

They walk away from a class having learnt the benefits of healthy eating and able to cook a nutritious and simple meal.
