My mother’s group just did Amalie’s Intro to Solids webinar through zoom and it was fantastic. With the current restrictions we weren’t able to attend our infant first aid class in person and Amalie came highly recommended from the BLW group. It was a wealth of knowledge and we’ve all left the webinar feeling super confident with introducing solids. Many mums have started purées and had lots of anxiety about choking and gagging – but immediately after the webinar started soft finger foods! Personally this is my second time round with BLW and I still found this class so valuable and learnt so many new things. A lot of the first time mums wished they had done this class before they started solids so they could have had the confidence to start BLW!

I attended the Introduction to solids class and it was fantastic. Amalie was great – knowledgeable, friendly and confident which gave me so much more confidence in moving on from feeding just purees. She gave great food ideas which were healthy and inexpensive, easy things to introduce that I had not even thought of. Highly recommend!

Amalie kindly created a custom presentation for my Mothers Group, as we are all on the verge of starting solids with our bubs. It was informative and engaging and my group were extremely appreciative. Amalie is as professional and presentable as she is easy going. There needs to be more Amalie’s in the community!

“I contacted Amalie to help me with my very fussy 13 month old who has been extremely slow to take to solids. Amalie gave me some very helpful tips on how to encourage my little one to eat such as having picnics on the ground instead of always being in high chair. This change had improved things dramatically for us. She explained why little ones can go off food which made me a little less anxious that he wasn’t eating as much as his peers. Also by gently pointing out some blocking behaviours that I was doing I was able to change my attitude towards feeding time which has made a difference in William trying or at least playing with new foods.. Since our meeting Williams food intake has definitely increased, his slowing increasing his intake & it’s becoming fun again watching him explore & learn. I would 100% recommend Amalie I had a few follow up questions which I got a speedy replies which always helps.”
